   There are many ways to enjoy ham radio. QSL card collection, digital communication, club station membership, awards, mobile operations, contests, self-made, Morse communication, advanced qualification acquisition, etc. You can find the one that suits you and enjoy it. The process of trying to find what you want to do, find a good way to do it, and strive to achieve results is also rewarding.

    The definition of ham radio business. "It refers to the work of self-training, communications and technical research conducted solely by personal interests in wireless technology, not for financial gain." Amateur radio does radio technical research. For example, we will work on making antennas for DX communication and grounding measures. You can do self-training by realizing the result. There is a sense of accomplishment due to its success. I felt that it was a fun hobby that led to self-growth.

   Also, I have various hobbies and fun now. However, ham radio is worth keeping in mind as one of the hobbies to enjoy in your spare time if you have nothing to do in old age. I felt it was one of my important and meaningful hobbies.

   Nowadays, there are many fun hobbies such as the Internet. In Japan, amateur radio recorded a record high of 1,364,316 stations at the end of March 1995. It seems that it has been decreasing since then, but there used to be more than 1.36 million amateur radio stations in Japan.

   I think they were people who were interested in ham radio. At the moment, the wave of the aging era is coming to Japan. They have passed the national examination and already have a ham radio license. If you decide to start ham radio, you can enjoy your hobby.

   With amateur radio, if you have radios and antennas at home, you will not be lonely in old age, and many ham friends are waiting for communication in front of radio waves. Amateur radio is a whole life qualification. Once you pass the qualification, you can enjoy it forever. I feel that I can communicate with many friends and spend my old age at home without being lonely. Maybe I feel that way. I felt that I could spend a fulfilling time as a hobby in old age.

    Also, as you get older, it can be difficult to get a qualification, so I feel that it would be good for young people to get an amateur radio qualification in preparation for a fun life where they can make friends even in old age.
